what are you bringing?

Post by Red Baron »

I am bringing a '73 ski doo silver bullet 294 to the vintage ride. Maybe a '71 250 'elan and '76 340 olympique too if I can get them running. There's a '68 399 Olympique and a '74 Harley Davidson 440 in the barn too that haven't been run for 20 years, we'll see.....

Sounds like fun......but...

I have a '76 Massey Ferguson 340 Whirlwind at home that I would love to bring. However, being in college in Milwaukee at MSOE, I wont be able to make it this year.

The Massey is in pretty decent shape, its what got me into this sport, I got it for free, got it running, and put 600+ miles on it the first year I owned it..., lets just say that my back could tell that I had put that many miles on it too....

I put around 100 miles on it last winter and registered it in the Balls Beater Run around Lena, WI. It died on the trail while riding, bought a new coil and it runs like a top.

Is this an annual event or going to be an annual event, because I would definitly be interested next year! Keep me posted!

anything older than 1980 is eligible to compete for prizes. Bobcats, Raiders, you name it! I am sure the 1985 sleds would be welcome to ride along too
