Tuesday Morning update

Post by CHOPPER 3 »

We were up to Jct 5 north of Popple River yesterday , and south of hwy 8 to alderton road and back to Armstrong Creek . Trails are rough & rocky , some of the swamps are just getting setup , the snow we have is light and fluffy which doesn't leave much of a base . Hopefully it warms up some so we get some moisture / melting to bind up out base . If you do plan to ride when trails open ,use EXTREME CAUTION we have swamp areas that have temporary bridges and brush piles to pack wet areas . That being said , there are people out riding trails that are Not open - this is the best way to show you have no respect for the club , our operators and our trail system . Not sure what the fines are , but dealing with an angry groomer driver isn't going to be better .. exercise some self control and let us do our job . Lots of changes out there this year so please be careful folks . Lets have a great season .

Snowmobiling on closed trails is trespassing,I found this:
The penalty for trespassing on a snowmobile can be pretty steep, with fines and court costs totaling $250
The DNR boys should be out now writing REAL tickets
