It's always been like that on this site. The weekends are real slow here, because everybody is out riding. That's why I try to make sure we get a Thursday update in, BEFORE everyone hits the trails.

Snow

Post by Roger »

We have about 14 inches. Trail base in about 2 to about 6 inches. Lots of snow to pull in from the sides. Conditions are very good to excellent.

125 miles

Post by snoway »

You're right, ppl must be out riding.
All my ridin' compadres are in da UP and WE couldn't make it, soo, made the best of it and rode close to home here in Walworth Co.
Did a solo 125 miles from 10 am to 3 pm.
Ran into a 2 mile long series of 3' to 5' drifts down here,... on a RR grade no less. The south side of the trail was lined with low growth trees and they caught every inch of snow that blew across the field next to the grade.
Never seen anything like it, down here.
I was the 1st sled to ride the trail this AM.
Only made it 1/2 way through, got stuck, turned around and went a different route.
Hope everyone got a chance to ride somewhere this weekend.

rode a little on the Sheboygan trails north west i belive of boltenville(sp). what sucked was coming up to the road crossing and on the other side of the road says trail closed!! We just rode the side of the county road for a few miles into town and continued from there. saw 2 groomers out down here. trails took a good beating in the few hours we were out and today. its a good thing there is snow down here easeing the pressure of the trails up north even though im sure there was tons of traffic up there regardless.

I'm back. Was in MI for work. Had to pick this last weekend perhaps the best weekend of the year to ride to be gone!! Good work on the trails here John. Just saw the groomer on the rec trail this morning.:D Trails here in Sheboygan county still look good.
