I don't mind helping out, but how do I get on the list without joining another club?

You don't need to join the 100 miler to help. Last year I had a bunch of guys help who belong to clubs other than the 100 miler. 1 guy doesn't even ride sleds!

During our annual workbee in Florence County in October we have a snowmobile club out of Isaar and an ATV club out of Caledonia(spelling) that help along with other non members. Of course our club members are responsible for coordinating areas that need the most work. Fall is a great time of year to be out on the trails. Just make sure you have permission if you are on private land!! The more hours we spend brushing the trails in the fall, the better the grooming and of course riding is in the winter. I try to remind everyone that helps brush that the groomers are very tall and like to run the outer edges of the trails. Bottom line is you can never brush "TOO MUCH"
