Just a heads up for snowmobilers running on the grade north of Laona. We were on the grade Friday morning just north of Laona by the lake that is north of Laona and west of the grade. An ATV came up the bank from the lake onto the grade out of no where. We missed him by inches. Fortunately we were running slow and north at the time. Had we been coming south we would have broadsided him. So snowmobilers heads up, and for the ATV driver please don't do that again as the result next time may not be good for you or the snowmobilers.

i think that is partly why the trail has a 25 mph speed zone through Laona.
