Thursday Morning Update

Post by CHOPPER 3 »

SS1 was groomed late last night and into thursday morning . Thanks to the Trailsetter drag that spring hole in the swamp section is finally covered up ( for now ) . Stay alert in this area especially through the weekend . We are expecting a high volume of traffic again this weekend so expect a rider around every corner . We have several turnouts in our sections to stop and take a break , try to utilize these where possible . I came up on a group of 4 riders last week taking a 5 in the middle of the trail . At 8 mph I had plenty of time to stop , but it was a poor place for a quick look at a map and a smoke . Nice to see all the thumbs up latley :) Talked to a couple of fellas who trailered all the way to Forest county from Minnesota to ride our system and they were extremely impressed - After a few Vikings and cheese curd jokes they were on their way up to Newald . Stay safe and stay tuned

Through the years, I have noticed too many sleds parked side by side, right over the crest of a hill, of right around a corner. Must think they are the only ones on the trail.
