grouse?

hey all, just got back from hunting....grouse hunt in carter. anyone having any luck around the woods? for this early the woods were pretty clear. going bck up in 2 weeks to slay some more...hehe

I was up grouse hunting in townsend this past weekend. I saw a half a dozen but there is still alot of brush so it was hard to get a good shot.

ya should be amazing this weekend with the cold weather coming in....the brush and leaves should be gone. we saw about 6-7 also and got one

im pickin up a new shotgun for this year...browning BPS upland special...22" barrel 3 chokes, perfect for the brush on these birds..hehe

Well you don't wanna have too much brush power or all you will have left are wings and legs

very true....22" barrel full choke will pry give a real good pattern...not too bad for short distance and pretty good for medium distance.....long distance i dont even bother...i just stalk them down lol hehe
