I noticed atv signs in the background in several pictures posted. I have not been able to ride in Gods country for over two years and was wondering how many trails are designated for atv use and during what times of the year?

Oconto and Forest countys have a very nice A.T.V. trail system. Most of the trails are "summer use" , some can be used in winter with the snowmobiles, once the trails are open for snowmobiles. I am not fully aware of all the dual use laws., T.C.

I think I asked the same question last year or two years ago and I wanna say that nothing in forest county can be riddin by ATV's beside maybe the grade? I also thought that I remember someone saying Lakewood south allows it in some areas?

Someone correct me if Im wrong the only thing I remember about it was forest county where I do most of my riding is closed to ATVs.

Far as those signs you see most of the major trails in the area are now ATV trails in the summer months to my understanding.

Doesn't look like there was, but are there as much drifts up north as we have farther south?

Looks like about 11 inches from the weekend snows. Its hard to tell with all the blowing and drifting!! Saw one of the Townsend groomers out panning today. Noticed that Lakewood had panned at least the R.R. grade!!

Been waitin' all year for this!

I had my atv out on the snow a few times over the years and it just ain't right compared to the smooth, go anywhere, through anything and over whatever capability of a sled! Not to mention I stay warmer on it. :thebomb: The atv is a lot of fun out on the lakes though. When April rolls around, I'm ready to fire the atv up. Right now. however, it's time to saddle up and RIDE!!
