The trail by Chenny's normally has gravel showing. That trail get hit the hardest by the sun. I always dislike that section shes always worn down.

Cheney's trail

The trail in front of Cheney's was plowed a week ago, for a logging operation going on behind Sam's Lk House. I groomed that trail and I guarantee the portion in front of CHeney's does not do justice to the rest of the trail.

Don't SAY that Johnnie! :) You'll inadvertently encourage people to get out there and wreck the trails worse than they already are!

From what I've seen so far- we still need several, not just 2-3, inches of good heavy snow for things to make any sort of major improvement. Does anybody second that notion?

Already agreed with that thought!!

Yeah but I was emphasizing that it's going to take more than these piddly 1-2" snowfalls they're forecasting.
All in favor of abstaining until an additional SIX inches of snow comes?
I never thought I'd have to say that.... :taz:

All the local business need the sled tourist to come up and shed some coin, not quite sure why you'd discourage people from coming up....
as far as "wrecking " the trails, what are you afraid of...breaking the snow????
you'll wreck your sled 1st, if the trails are so bad
this site and others give an honest report on conditions so lets let the riders make there own choice...the ground is good and froze, and more snow will come eventually, so i doubt a little sled traffic is gonna wreck anything.
lets get real!
