Just a side note, there is nothing magical about April 1st in FOrest Co. In 1996 we groomed through Easter until April 8th. In Forest Co. we have no magical closing date, just whenever the snow is gone!!!

I think that we will need more than crossing our fingers and sacrificing the cat. Everytime the web weather people say we are going to get hit with the big one, we end up getting nothing. It all goes south to IL. Sorry that I'm not optimistic anymore this year. Bring the sled home when it's suppose to snow and it snows in IL. Go up North and it snows in IL. I think that I'm going out to the garage and moving the sled to the back:mad: and bring out the dirt bilke, looks like I maybe able to race sooner then April

Well according to John Dee the northwoods is going to finally get some good snow this weekend. Possiblely up to 12" of wet snow this weekend which will forsurely make the trails better then they were all year. Just lets hope that it actually comes!

I think that someone should keep a graph on all of the weather forcast that John Dee does, and bulid a database on his extended forcast. Ever notice that they change day to day for the smae day:rolleyes:
There's Hope yet!!!

I just checked Johndee and weather.com. I have a really good feeling that we'll have some good riding after the weekend and into the next. Looks like snow, snow and more snow. If they are right, I'm going to ride my ass off, I've got a lot of catching up to do.
