Ahhh, now that is heaven. I wish the snow gods would deliver just a quarter of that to us. I'm really getting sick of praying. I only have 120 miles for the season. Unless we get something soon, I'm hanging it up for the year. UUUggh

I hear you - I got 604 miles (gotta count EVERY one) this year. That's horrible. My hubby is headed back to the UP this weekend (he rode 293 miles last Sat. there).

I'd love to ride the UP. Just too expensive for me to trailer a sled and find lodging, especially with a fall wedding.

Riding in the U.P. is hit and miss.
Sometimes trails are nice, other times over crowded, bumpy
and a person wonders why he went all the way up there to
ride!!
Lets cross our fingers and do one more snow dance.
There is a good chance for big snow this weekend,
and 2 other storms in the next 2 weeks or so.
I think the guys would keep the groomers out for a few more weeks
(in Forest co.) if we get the big snow!

Thanks for the great photos, TOWNSENDCHRIS
...They sent chills down my spine because they reminded me of 1 week ago yesterday when we were there in Twin Lakes...Seeing the snow covered roofs was an awesome sight.!!!!!
You are right about the UP, hit and miss.
We rode out of Watersmeet and had a good trip overall.
Snow Coming??

came through bruce crossing on mon. saw nothing like this...trails very thin in spots... went through bruce crossing on sat....trails were thin nothing like pictures show...although it was snowing and sun was shining at the same time.... twin lakes was much better.... but still not anymore than an inch of new snow if that....trails were very rough due to the high volume of traffic in that area
