The snow will be welcomed BUT......we need several days and nights of below zero weather to freeze the ground. Currently, there is no frost in the ground as the last storm dropped
the snow on warm ground. And all of the 15 inches then acted like an insulating blanket. Of course some of that 15 inches melted right away and the remaining continues to melt.

As we can see from Jim's pictures, as the snow melts, we have mud instead of frozen ground.
