Winter Storm Watch

Statement as of 3:31 AM CST on December 27, 2015

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning.

* The storm will begin to impact the Monday evening... peak
overnight... then slowly lose it/S grip on the area Tuesday.

* Precipitation will fall primarily as snow... though some sleet
could be mixed in at times.

* Early estimates are for a snowfall of 4 to 8 inches... with
perhaps a bit more in the far northeast corner of the state.

* Strong east winds will accompany the storm. The combination of
falling snow and strong winds could lead to very difficult
travel conditions Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow
accumulations. Travel will likely be impacted. Be sure to monitor
the latest forecasts and statements for updated information on the
storm.
