First off, Jim ,& Brian, thank you for all your hard work to clear that fire wood off the trails!!!!
second....saw that tragic story on another site...wow... could this be a case of inexperienced snowmobiling parents that were too safety consious???
between bike helmets, booster seats, second hand smoke lectures etc., etc.,....I'm inclined to think the parents thought this was the best way to protect there child.
could be another paragraph will be added to the snowmobile safety course manual.
my prayers go out to there family.
here's an update on the tomahawk accident from the sunday paper . " the nine year old girl was riding with an adult in a twin track type snowmobile- where the driver and passenger sit side by side - when the snowmobile went down in 50 feet of water." most likely a ski -doo elite , which i believe come equipped with seat belts ,so you really can't blame the adults for using them. but you're right about the "too safety consious" , kids can't even be kids anymore, don't eat dirt- you'll get sick , don't play in the rain -you'll get sick , don't do this -don't do that - you'll get hurt, we learn by our mistakes , if you don't , its your own fault .
I said trade, not borrow! I'm still gonna hold you to that, too...
Keep dreaming... and maybe we'll get 8" of snow tonight too!!!
