A ? How many trips did you make on the railroad grade between Carter and Wabeno this last weekend? Was it good, bad,or ugly?

2 trips, and based on the weather and heavy volume of traffic, for the most part it was good. Cannot control the weather or the volume, but overall trails were very good. Keep up the good work.

we were on the grade. LMT portion was OK sat am but not after that. we were behind the 100 miler groomer sat afternoon just North of casino and you could not tell after 3 sleds went thru it was groomed. No fault of the groomer, just no time to setup with the sugar snow. the grade North of laona stays good longer as it seems to be groomed at night, later when cold and no traffic. I will never complain about grooming, but I will complain about the bozos who rip up a fresh trail right behind the groomer. let is setup instead of going full throttle right down to the base below...

Our group (3) ran from Wabeno to Newald mid-day Saturday and the grade was decent. Humps at stop signs and bridges, but otherwise in nice shape. We started in Pembine and made a nice loop to Forest county and back. Everything was groomed and nice. Pembine is definitely as far south as you want to go for decent riding.
As far as the "bozo's" - I had enought of them as well.
Note to self: Some of these idiots will probably never understand that blazing down a trail at ridiculous speeds means you should at least stay on the right side of trail. Especially blind corners..... unbelivable.
Thank you, 100 miler team trails were good as always.

My club had a trip planned this past weekend and on Saturday 9:30am the grade from Carter to Wabeno was good, soft in the middle but hard on the sides. About the bozo's just watch the Sheriff's. we had stopped at Valley Inn and watch the Sheriff's go though, rolled though the stop sign on HWY 32 then blasted all of the snow off the trail on both sides of the highway. After they left another group went though. First sled stopped and then each sled after the leader rolled though the stop sign faster until the last sled didn't even slow down
