I thought that might be a ATV route. We came threw there sat. and I never really noticed it before but we gave directions to some riders in goodman to get to wabeno and I think thats why I noticed it:shrug:Hope they did not go that way:eek:Funny when you ride an area so often you dont really see these things.

I made that same mistake the first weekend, I normally come from the south but we came from the north to from Armstrong and it was dark and I saw the orange arrow to the left and not the small yellow arrow to the right. After you turn left I knew we were on the wrong trail because there are no trail blazers, which you do see if you follow the yellow turn. I found out this year that Forest county uses yellow corner markers not orange

My first time down that route I made the wrong turn and ended up next to the water tower in Goodman comes out right by the mill! and when we went back I really didn't see the trail sign! bad signage or old age????

Exactly Correct. It is an ATV route. Peshtigo River Rd East, turns into Porcupine Lake Rd, and comes out in Goodman.
And thanks, that reminds me...
I rode South this morning, and noticed our 100 Mile Snow Safari signs are missing!

There is an orange ATV arrow that points to the East, but our 100 Miler Arrow, Brown Road Sign, and the sign post itself-- are missing!!
This will be corrected ASAP.
bad signage or old age????
throw in missing signs, and I'd say a combination of all three! :p but there's never a good excuse for poor service in my book!

and we hope to have that little snafu all dialed up in the near future.

This may be the same corner where someone kept stealing the street sign that said Nowhwere Rd pole and all (at least 3 times) The town ended up changing the street name to Camp Six Loop. I don't know whether that will help or not. Other signs have been damaged etc.

I still remember the time a kid got lost while riding his bike around 'Camp Six Loop' when it was called Nowhere Rd. When asked where he came from, he replied "No Where". It took a few minutes and a phone call, to figure that one out. But we got him back safely. Dropped him off just around the corner, so he could ride back.

I did manage to get down there this morning and put up an orange arrow there, and another orange arrow on the stop ahead sign post, just before that intersection.
