Trail Closing

I was just notified by Forest County, all Forest County snowmobile trails will be closed effective today. It was a great season, but warm temps and predicted rain, have taken care of our base. And once the base is gone, this time of year, you are done. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many diehards this last weekend. Like Jim said on another post, there was the good, the bad, and the ugly on the trails this weekend. Most who rode north and east found good late season riding. The NST north of LMT 8 to Tipler was good as were the Florence county trails. Argonne to Newald was also good. It was a great Begos weekend! Thanks again to all who rode our trails and patronized our Pit Stops.

It was a great season. As I have said many times before, Forest County trails are Wisconsin's best kept secret. Hat's off to the 100 Miler and all the other snowmobile clubs and their volunteers.:thumbup::thumbup:
I made it up north every weekend except for one this season. We ended the season with my son drove solo on the trails for the first time. Even with deteriorating conditions we still managed to put on close to 120 miles on the sled. Not a bad weekend for a newbie. Both he and his old man are already making plans for next winter!
It was a great season starting with the wonderful Christmas present of the Christmas snowstorm and the opening of the trails right thru the end of the year. Never was there a bad weekend.

Mines in the repair shop already, getting some warranty work done. It will be ready next year for the great trails of Langlade and Forest County.
Happy Trails to You

Had great riding in the area this winter.
Thanks to all those involved with the trails.
Just was hoping for 1 more ride this week(Tues-Fri).
Oh well, until next year(unless we get a luck dumping before the end of March).
