Does anyone know if the BP station in Lakewood has gas? Over the New Years week and weekend they had signs on the pumps ( No Gas ) I would hate to only have enough gas to make Lakewood to find (no gas). I know there is a Citgo at the north end of town but they have ethanol in the gas.

Good too know that you have ethanol free 87 gas. Now that EPA approved 15% ethanol, it is good to know that some retailers still have good gas for the small engines. It may awhile before we see 15% at the pump because of all of the regulations that the state is deciding on at this time, but it will come.
I normally run 92-93 ethanol free and have all of the sleds jetted to run with the higher octane.
Still hoping to find out if the BP in Lakewood is open to sell gas.

ethanol madness

Hopefully the new political climate in Madison is a little more familiar with how things work in the real world. Problems are not solved by higher taxes and more regulation. (We can all see where THAT got us)! Maybe we can put this whole, stupid ethanol mess behind us. Townsend Shell has non-eth premium and the Fleet & Farm in Appleton has non-eth mid-grade and premium. For now it's time to saddle up & RIDE!!! :taz::sledder:

The BP gas station in Amoco is for sale. I was there yesterday and saw the "for sale by owner" sign in the window. The convenience store portion is still open.

Given the fact the gas station is for sale, I would expect they will not have gas again until after the gas station is sold. Bummer!

I stopped and talked to the owner. He said that he is not going to order any fuel because he is not able to afford to pay for the load. Credit card sales have hurt his business - no profit in selling gas

Such a shame. They are such nice people. This economy is hurting so many small businesses. :(
