Just visited the great northwoods of Forest county for a brief trial of my clutch and carb work. The sleds ran great! Took 8 east toward 100 miler. Trail was so so. Came back and went 8 west to 9 north, trail was excellent!:D Only put on 75 miles for the test ride. 4 south was not real good(but I allready knew that from reports b4 coming up)On trip home someone rear ended my trailer, snapping my hitch off and having to leave my sleds in Neenah. Have to wait for ins co to get them back to me! Returned home in West Bend to find the trails just opened minutes b4 I got home:thumbup: .Too bad I get to sit here with 8 inches of snow and no sled:thumbdown: My back isn't feeling the greatest from the crash either:( Things can only get better:lol:
good report

We are on those trails. 8 West is one of my favorites...always in nice shape, doesn't seem to get ab-used as much. Glad to hear the trails aren't as bad as some are saying.
Just gotta pick and choose where you go til more snow comes.
Too bad your sleds aren't home ...brought ours back home to SE WI. for maintenance this fall so we've been making the best of things riding out our front door down here.
Stopped at a bar east of Waterford WI. on Sunday afternoon and thought I was @ the wildrose....had to be 50 + sleds outside!

Our trails in Sheboygan County open yesterday as well. You aren't missing a lot. Trails are in poor condition. However we are taking pressure off of the north woods. Lots of trailers from Milw. area stopping and using our trails.

washington county trails opened sunday. me and a couple people went for a ride monday night before they were beat, did about 100 miles. they were good for awhile, but every parking lot on the trail we pasted after 6pm was almost full of trucks and trailers. saw at least 75-100 sleds on the trails. stopped in dundee and there had to be a good 30-40 sleds sitting in the lot!! Through the woods we were riding dirt back.

We almost made it to Dundee. I saw the mountain then we turned north to get out of there. Most of the trails were bad. Although it was nice to ride it would be a lot nicer with 8" more snow. I am glad the sled ran well. We saw only 4 sleds. We were out at 1:30 - 3:00.

Going through Mountain last weekend it didnt look like they had even groomed the trails and no one had even ridden them. This was as of last Sunday. All the trails along 32 or that crossed 32 south of Mountain did not look like they had been groomed at all. I dont think most clubs have their groomers out yet.
