Unloaded the motorcycles out of the trailer last weekend, put a white crayon and white plastic spoon in the freezer. This weekend will start rebuilding shocks on the sleds, might just have to test a sled or two in the ditch in the early morning when there is dew on the grass

Hi all -call me the new guy! Been riding a borrowed sled from a generous freind the past 3-4 seasons, and finally got a new one of my own  Just finished studding the track on it, and hoping we have a decent end of December/early January down here in the south, so I can get the new ride through its break in before we head up for any big weekends at the cottage!

I would do the quick break-in. Take it over to Big Muskego Lake and run across the lake for an hour or so, then it will be fast

@ Snowhawk - don't know why, but that thought hadn't even occurred to me! (As I've not had my own sled until now, I've done very little riding locally - it's all been up at the family cottage.) I can see from the map that the county trails bump up against it in at least 2 or 3 spots. I'm not an ice fishing guy, so I've never paid attention to ice thickness on local lakes - 'bout when does Big M freeze over?
Man, I hope conditions here in the south will at least be decent, or that 300 miles may take (or at least feel like) forever! Thanks for chiming in!
