100 Mile Snow Safari Forum

Since old man winter has not been kind so far, I was looking to possibly head up tomorrow morning and ice fish this weekend. I have a cabin on the Townsend Flowage and was wondering if anyone around the area has any idea on ice amounts for the lakes. Any safe estimates would be appricated. Looking to mostly fish the close shores anyway so I think i could be alright but am looking for a second opinion due to the rain this week.

chipped through the ice on Chain lake today about 10 ft of shore and measured 5.5 inches. Then went to the pines for lunch and was told crooked lake had about the same.
