Well,

We made reservations quite a while ago in Carter for the upcoming weekend. The typical question, should I cancel and try to find something in Vilas County or take the chance and go out of Carter?

I'm guessing that what was left on the trail system prior to the weekend is now gone. Are the trials closer to staying open or shutting down?

Any help from sledders up there this weekend and the locals is much appreciated.

:letitsnow: I think your best bet is to go north!The trails are not that great in forest co. you would be disapointed making that your weekend trip.If I go ridin next weekend I will even trailer them to the north.Two weekends of ridin the ground is enough for me.Its to bad but we need :letitsnow:

I haven't even road in Forest County yet this yr. I only ride here, but I cant even do that. This year was my 1st yr ever trailering my sled in my life!

I support of trails and the businesses need it, but I would go North. Its not worth the damage to the sled let alone the land.

well i was just looking at weather.com for wabeno 10-day forecast.....1-2 today, 1-3 tonight, and 70% chance of good SNOW friday!!!!!!

I hope this is true, i am comeing up this weekend also, if i have to ride dirt the REV will be out still! We are gonna try to get to eagle river from ou cabin just south of crandon.

We will see....slingin mud and shooting rocks!

Our club trip to Carter is this weekend. We will be up regardless just to relax if nothing else!!

We are planning to come up for the poker run this weekend , so a little more snow each night would be great.
If not, oh well, we'll just hit up the bars in Laona and Wabeno.
Been riding the dirt, snirt and ditches down here for 2 weeks, so a few bare spots won't even phaze me at this point.

Not much snow, but we will groom all the trails in the WABENO AREA once more before the weekend. Roger
