100 Mile Snow Safari Forum

Looking at coming up this weekend. I know thursday its suppose to be almost 40 here in the valley:thumbdown: what about up there?! What should I expect when im up there? Havent been up in 2 weeks. LET IT SNOWW:lol:

I can tell you me and wife dropped of in Laona this past saturday - Saw alot of trailers coming up Hwy32 parked at gas stations - Got on the trails hoping for the best - All i can say is they got pounded on saturday - With the little snow they got for grooming and VERY HEAVY TRAFFIC they got beat up pretty bad the 100 miles we put on - Trails where best towards Three Lakes area - With that said i told myself i wouldnt go back until they got at least another 6"-12" to fill in all the ruts - Nothing the groomers can doo with low snow - Well guess what , i am thinking of cancelling going to the U.P. and trailering back up to Laona this weekend - At least the warmer weather is occuring during the middle of the week with what you would assume low traffic - Looking at the groomer pictures from yesterday , man they look awesome with the new snow , but i would expect beyond heavy traffic this weekend also , but at least with colder weather , so who knows

Man i wish i was up there now instead of typing this at work - i need to get up there midweek sooner then later

They got snow earlier this week like sunday or monday i thought. Thanks for the update I havent been up for 2 weeks so i feel your pain about wanting to ride. I was only riding once this year thank god i put on 400 miles.
