Conditions for Opening Day

Remember this will be early season riding conditions, not mid-winter conditions. We have made a minimum of 4 passes on all of our trail segments to widen and try to firm up a base. The first riders will have great riding, but I don't know how long the trails can hold up, because of the lack of a base. Where the trail is on good forest roads or rail grades there should be a thin ice base, but where the trail goes through tight woods trails it may be another story. But we will be grooming every day through the holidays to give you the best trails possible. With the cold nights SOME of the lakes may be safe by the day after Xmas, BUT I would check with a local on the lake.
