I was up last sunday through wednsday. The 100 miler trails groomed by the wabeno groomer were the worst of any of the 100 miler trails. Don't get me wrong, the were not terrible but they were not as nice as armstrong creek trails and the trails around Johnnies, Exceptional job by them groomers:biggrin:. I am pretty sure the wabeno groomer never moved in the 4 days I was there. There is probably a really good excuse, I hope they will be better next trip.:thumbup:

Someone doesnt no where the Wabeno trails go. The Wabeno grooer is out 7 days a week.

All i know is that the Wabeno trails were VG on Friday night and as we left early this morning we saw the groomer being fueled up at the Citgo around 6:30 AM....Maybe you need to get up earlier ...

One thing that I learned since riding in forest co. is that the trails in that area run on road and RR grades which take less snow and grooming to be nice while the "terrain" woods trails need alot more love from both ma nature and the groomer gods to be equally nice.

Maybe someone needs to learn to read.....the trails I was talking about were over a week ago, and I am sure I get out of bed before you.:lol:. I have been snowmobiling in the area for about 18 years, I pretty sure I know where the Wabeno trails go, and most of the time they are great:thumbup:. As for 7 days a week, I mean no disrespect, I not so sure.Make no mistake the 100 miler trails are some of the best in the state.

I agree with Roger and know first hand the Wabeno groomer is on the move and working 7 days a week. Perhaps you were confusing the LMT Trails with the 100 miler trails? Even then the LMT trails this year have been excellent. Not sure what your expectations are or what kind of sled you ride, but basically all the the 100 Miler trails have been excellent all year. If you do not have something good to say, don't say it!

A week ago was the Pickerel Jump In. There was A LOT of traffic that weekend. It was amazing (in a sad way) how fast the trails deteriorated over the day on Saturday, especially in the Pickerel area. By the end of the day there were a lot of moguls. I saw a lot of 10 plus size groups of sleds go thru. With that much traffic, even continuous grooming would not be enough.

I think feedback, both good and bad, is always a good thing.

My hats are off to the groomers. Given all of the traffic they did a wonderful job of keeping the trails up. And this past weekend, wow!
