Thanks to all my "friends" at the 100 miler. I use that term loosely as anyone who offers a kraut bomb as a birthday gift is a bit scary. I know first hand that the concoction known as the kraut bomb turns a man into a high pressure methane plant. The best gift I could get was delivered over the past few days, that being some of the best riding conditions I have seen in the past few years of riding in Forest County. the trails on Monday and Tuesday were awesome. Too bad it is supposed to warm up over the next week. I think the warmup is due to the hole in the local ozone layer that was created by "greenhouse gasses" as mentioned above from too many kraut bombs being served by a certain Wabikon Lake resident. Ride til it melts as the fat lady is gargling with kraut juice, getting ready to warmup backstage. I think she will stay away for a week yet, but it's March now, and time is limited. Today should be the best riding of the year, so call in sick and get out there!
