Maybe it'll be outfitted with massive defense systems and keep huge 4wd trucks from digging foot-deep ruts in our routes!

The old Case was traded-in. When the new one is ready, Quinnlan's out of Antigo will pick up the old one. The Old Tucker is already at Track Inc. in Minn. for sale.

Curious why the Case for the Crandon/Laona trails and the Tuckers for the other sections? Is it because in the Crandon/Laona area the trails are wider? Does the Case have a higher cruising speed while grooming?

We have been running a Tractor in the Laona/Crandon area for over 10 years. Like a contactor told me years ago, "If you can get away with running wheeled equipment do it. It is a lot cheaper to run, but there are times and places you need tracked equipment." In the Crando/Laona area we have no swamps and no large steep hills or open fields so we can get away with using a wheeled tractor. The Armstrong Cr. area has some large swamps and they need a tracked vehicle with better flotation. Wabeno has large hills leaving Wabeno toward Armstrong and between Valley Inn and Windfall Lk. so they need a tracked vehicle also. It is cheaper to run wheeled vehicles but there are times we need the Tuckers. It is also nice to keep one tractor to do summer work. The tractor right now is in Armstrong Cr with the brush mower widening some of our trails in that area. Thanks for the thoughful question.
