Not doubting those totals but the snow in the woods was at least twice as deep last year.
I would have guessed we had far more snow last season

Thanks for the data, sure felt like we had less this year than in the near past, seems not to be the case. Although my guess is this years totals were skewed by the early season storm and if we looked at it from 1/1/15 on we'd be lower. Just a theory though. Thanks again

I agree with you, doesn't seem to have as much snow in the woods this year. I have not gotten stuck yet

We did have that major meltdown at the beginning of the season and no big storms after the meltdown, maybe that we we don't have extra snow in the woods.

I know its less affected in the northwoods but in Neenah we had that snowfall in November around gunhunting which then all melted. Plus 3 weeks in a row it snowed like a tuesday I think Dec1-21ish and then melted within the week. It was not until xmas/new years it finally snowed enough to get those trails all open in Forest county area. It would have been a great year if not for all the warm ups in December we had. I cant get the historical weather up on my work pc for some reason but it wasnt good in Dec!
Im going to pack mine away this weekend. Been a great year and awesome miles I got on all over the place the 100 miler is always my Wisconsin favorite.
Im ready for warm weather now that its coming, time to break out the summer toys and fishing boat! Walleyes will be running soon!
