Updated Conditions

Forest County Trails will open Friday, January 1, 2016!! Trails are in early season condition so If you decide to ride, expect to find bare spots, ruts, wet areas, and some trails closed due to standing water and unfrozen swamps. Trail conditions are better in southern Forest County, south of U.S. Highway 8.
CLOSED TRAILS:
- All of Three Lakes/Brule Trails, located in Northern Forest County, are too wet to open safely.
- LMT Trail #4 - Intersection 8 to Intersection 4. Please use LMT Trail #2 to travel between Wabeno and the Windfall Lake area.
CAUTION:
- Blackbear Trails - Intersection 48 to 49: There is some water across the trail. The tractor and groomer have been through this area.
Again, we cannot stress enough to RIDE SAFELY and responsibly. Trail conditions vary greatly throughout the County. If a trail is not groomed, assume it is not safe to ride yet. Do not ride across any lakes or frozen water due to unsafe ice conditions.
The clubs that maintain the Forest County Trail System are made up of volunteers who work very hard to provide the best trails possible. Please respect them while on the trail and allow them to do their job.
TRAILS ARE GROOMED DAY AND NIGHT
Thank You
