I just got back from south of town. The swamp south of Armstrong Creek is still open.

Wasn't that same area a major concern last year? We need an extended frigid snap. It's nice that it's been below freezing for almost a week now, but we need more of the same and some lower temps. AFTER a nice soaker to ice everything down like Johnnie was talking about.
