Rode the extended area this weekend. Trails were VERY nice. Even ran across some of that fresh ribbon! Really good early season riding.
Did see alot of deer, and a bunch of sleds, but trails were far from crowded. Seems that snow cover is a little better on the north end. (as usual) If i was being critical, i would say Townsend didn't run there groomers much over the weekend, and the 2 sections of trail from Wabeno to Armstrong Creek could have used a little more attention. Its a nice ride as an alternative to running the R.R. Grade. Keep up the good work!!! Think snow !!

We have given those two sections as much attention as the rest of our trails. However we started with some very deep ruts caused by other activities and we still don't have enough snow to fill everything in.
Then we also received some extra help from a 4X4 truck.
Both sections were again groomed last night,

Yea, I have noticed truck traffic too on the trails, that really bites. Also can tell a trail that hasn't been groomed in a couple days. Snow left on the sides from previous snow falls, sled traffic, how they compare with connecting trails etc. are indicators. I know it's a lot of work and takes cooperation from Mother Nature. Thanks for the reply. We all appreciate the work that is done.:thumbup:
