Dynamite shed is gone

All you hard core 100 milers will know what I am talking about when I mention the dynamite shed. It was a great place to pull over and "rest" It's now gone! Maybe it blew up.

I kind of miss it, was a real land mark on that trail and better than a stop ahead sign.
Damn near blew the stop 1st time I went through there this year!
Just knew I didn't have to stop until I went past the dynamite shed and then holly crap!

I did the same thing! I always knew to lay off he throttle when passing the shed for the upcoming (unneeded) stop sign when heading East. It was still there in May when I was "inspecting" that trail on my ATV. I wonder where it went. There's a lot of yellow snow in that general vicinity. Its hard to make it from Wabikon to Cavour without pissing behind the dynamite shed.
What are some other famous "near trail" 100 miler landmarks? The chapel near little Riley Lake comes to mind, as does the Christmas Tree Inn. Where the hell is Nelligans pond? Is it actually a pond? Isn't it just east of the "big rock" off Newald Tower Road?

it used to be a pond,they put a big culvert in and now its 3 foot wide creek and yes it just across the road from the big rock.......i went past the dynamic shack and never noticed it was gone:shrug:
