Trails Opening Here Tonight?

If everything I heard this weekend is true Sheboygan County trails will be opening today sometime. Our trails are all groomed and ready to go.:p :p :p

I heard Brown County is opening up today also....

Dodge County trails open tomorrow at 7:00 A.M.

Now I hear that three counties do not have their land owners list into the county yet for insurance reasons they are needed. So no trails today. They are hoping by Wed.

Our trails (Sheboygan County) opened last night around 4:00pm. The trails were great!! It was awesome to be out sooooooooo early (down here at least) on the trails. We were the first on the trails. They were all groomed however there was 3" - 4" of new snow on them. We were grooming all night last night. Forgot how much fun it was.

Trails are open in Sheboygan County but not in Manitowoc County.
We have a meeting tonight and will find out when they will open.

Just drove by a few of ours and all freshly groomed and not a sled has been on them. It seems we have an icy base. The groomers were having problems going through the snow. The operators are saying they have to back up often to get a run on some spots.
Winnebago County still closed

Unfortunately Winnebago County trails are still closed. Drifters Snowmobile Club of Neenah has purchased the WCSA groomer and has taken over grooming the northern part of Winnebago County. We have been out panning this week to start building a base. However, there still is not enough base to open and there are still many low snow areas. The Wiouwash and Friendship trails are also still CLOSED in Winnebago County, despite this people are riding them.
