Winter Storm Warning

[B]SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT[/B] INTO SUNDAY... WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS ANTICIPATED IN VILAS COUNTY. IN ADDITION...WEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED ON SUNDAY...WHICH WILL GENERATE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW ARE EXPECTED. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

don't remember who asked for rain but thats what we are getting. It's 12:30 in the morning and almost 35 degrees in argonne and my truck is clean from all the rain :D

i talked to a neighbor who has a relative in rhinelander and they got 8 inches of snow fairly quick so all hope it not lost. we got about 1/16th of an inch of snow when it switched over and then quit :eek:
