Armstrong Creek Update 1/10/19
Posted: Thu Jan 10, 2019 10:08 am
Trail sections SS2 (north of Hwy 8) and the NST 4 were groomed yesterday afternoon and into Thursday morning . Trails have set up real stiff , but thin in some areas . Watch out for some sticks and the occasional offending branches . The recent winds have put a lot of sticks in some areas , its not bad but if you do stop to help out the groomer driver with stick removal be cautious of other traffic . Be aware of a logging job going on just north of Benson Lake rd on the SS1 (south of HWY 8) . Theres a short section of plowed rd (less than 1/8 of a mile) that trucks may be hauling out of . We have some rocky areas before and after our swamps so watch your speed in these sections . Enjoy all of our trails in Forest County and please , try to leave some trail for the next guy ! We will be out in the evenings with the Tucker Sno Cat so expect expect 17,500 lbs. of iron around every corner . Stay safe & Ride Right.
