Diesel Prices vs Groomers

We all have discussed how gas prices will affect our snowmobile plans etc.
I question how diesel prices will affect grooming on the 100 miler?
I know Johnny noted the fuel cost for one groomer for one month a while back. I believe he stated there were 3 groomers so the total was approaching $10,000 for one month.
Will the state keep paying more and more to subsidize the trail grooming or are clubs looking at doing less grooming this coming winter? The trail have been second to none as long as I have been riding the 100 miler due to the best grooming anywhere.
