.A Low Pressure System Tracking Over The Great Lakes Region Will Bring A Wintry Mix To The Area. Across North Central Wisconsin... Heavy Snow Is Expected With Total Accumulations Ranging From 6 To 10 Inches With The Highest Amounts Over Vilas County. West Winds Increasing To 15 To 25 Mph Sunday Afternoon May Produce Some Blowing And Drifting Of The Snow.

Meanwhile Over Central And Northeast Wisconsin... Air Aloft Becoming Warmer Will Produce A Mix Of Snow... Sleet And Freezing Rain Or Freezing Drizzle. Untreated Roads And Sidewalks Will May Become Slippery This Evening. Overnight... As Colder Air Works Into The Area... The Mixed Precipitation Will Turn To All Snow With An Additional 2 To 4 Inches Accumulation Possible.

The National Weather Service In Green Bay Has Issued A Winter Storm Warning For Heavy Snow... Which Is In Effect From 6 PM This Evening To 9 AM CST Sunday. The Winter Storm Watch Is No Longer In Effect.

Snow Will Overspread North Central Wisconsin Later Today And Will Become Heavy At Times By This Evening And Continue Overnight. The Snow Will Then Diminish Sunday Morning. Accumulations Of 6 To 10 Inches Are Possible By Late Sunday Morning With The Higher Amounts Expected Over Vilas County.

Winds Will Increase From The West At 15 To 25 Mph On Sunday And Generate Areas Of Blowing And Drifting Snow.
