Hey guys, my group has had a trip to sled up in forest county this weekend. What we are wondering is, just how bad are the trails with all of this warm weather? We want to come up, but if they are nothing but glare ice its not worth beating up the sleds. I apreciate any info, and would like to say :thumbup:THANK YOU:thumbup: to those who groom the trails and keep up some of the best best trails in the state. :ineedsnow::sledder::sledder:

We hope that they are rideable.
Our group is coming up from thurs to sun.
No one has posted any conditions telling us not to come.

Its not looking good right now but there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow night and Thursday. I'm not sure how much. (30% chance of snow with lows in the teens) Keep checking back for updates.

It's not looking good.

Unless we get some snow, it's probably not worth it.

Are the trails officially open? What condition would you say they are in? This is probably a good time to make sure I have nice sharp carbides, huh?

Not good, I wouldn't ride this weekend and risk damaging sled. The little bit of trails I see going to work and back have a lot of bare spots and some low spots have 2 to 3 feet of water. Forcast for colder temps, but only a dusting of snow this week:( hopefully some next week.
