Conditions are what they are

We had our club ride last weekend and stayed in Dun Bar. Rode 415 miles in 3 days. Pembine, Florence, Tipler, Wabeno, Lakewood, Mountain and Silver Cliff. I would say 85% of the trails were in good to real good condition. The 15% that were rough was due to not enough snow. Some of these trails need ...

If you read the 15 snowmobile death reports for this year. Only 4 have been on marked snowmobile trails. The rest have been off trail riding in ditches, crossing lakes, hitting bridges or cabins. I guess WTMJ forgot to memtion that in their report. "Stay on the trail."

Yes, I realize guys ride on the wrong side of the trail. That will never change. You just have to be aware. The thing that really bothers me is that he had the nerve to open hand slap her on the back of the head. That was uncalled for.

Dads not very happy

We were up on our club trip this past weekend. Trails were awsome. I was leading a group of 6 between Hiles and the first intersection to Three lakes. Met a single sled just flying down the trail in the turns. This guy ending up hitting the fourth sled in our group which happened to be my 20 year ol...

I found liquid dish soap works better than WD40 or oil. Just a suggestion. Also, a buddy of mine at work says he rotates the track backwards. Get the sides part way out of the windows. Grab the track and rotate it backwards and the slides will peel off the rails. I personally have not tried this yet...

Heater on at night and the AC on during the day...you got to love it. I have had enough of...

New owners

My buddy has a cabin right up the road. The new owners are from the Green Bay area. They are planning on opening in October. I was up that way 2 weeks ago. They seem to be doing some remodeling and fixing the place up a little.
