100 Mile Snow Safari Forum

I know the trip can be done Im just wondering about the current conditions. Would I be able to ride from crandon to Pickeral on saturday for the jump in? or am I going to need to take a truck?

I dont know how the snow is in pickeral. it is kind of south of crandon and i know they suggest to stay north of crandon/laona area. personally i think i would still take the sled.

Haven't looked at the weather lately and its hard to trust some of the national weather sites. What are the local weatherman saying? Think we'll be riding yet in 2011? I am coming up for new years and would like to do some riding ontop of ice fishing.

My dad has a 07 switchback which i know is a 2stroke whereas your going with a 4stroke. His long track really makes for a smooth ride. The only problem is the ski pressure has to be set for making all these turns. with the longer track, at least my dads sled, has a tenency to pick up the inside ski....
