Wabeno Snow Conditions?

Post by Pat1 »

What are the trails like in Wabeno and south? I read Johnnie's post saying Laona was not good. Should I be heading up this weekend or are the trails not good?

Talked with the trail boss and groomer operator last night for Tombstone/Pickerel and was told that they were out grooming and the trail base was still good with the fresh snow on top. They were able to groom up to Mole Lake but North or Mole Lake was not good. My club has a schedule trip at Mole Lake so this was good news

Trails

Trails are ridable but very icy. I just can down Hwy W and the trails I went by have been used sense the snow. All are white but not groomed. Ride till it melts.
