Unfortunately for the businesses in Armstrong Creek, I do not go there because of the lack of snow on the trails/roads.

What we need are the local business (i.e. local taxpayors/residents) to complain. We need to let the bar owners know we do not patronize them because of the snowplow drivers don't leave any snow for the snowmobiles to use.

Concur

I concur with Pat1.
I have not ridden the A. C. Trails for the last two years and probably will not go in that direction any time soon!
There are too many other riding choices where you are not assured of having bare road conditions.
I also agree that the local riders and business will have to be the catalist to make that change happen!

I just came through armstrong and did not have any problem with not enough snow on the shoulder. Ive ridden that route every weekend the trails have been open for 15 years and the road routes aren't any worse than any other town I've been through....if anyone doesn't want to make that loop because of a little wear on they're carbides and slides( which compared to everything else in this sport are cheap to replace) that just means I've got less oncoming traffic to worry about.

it doen't stop me either. i love not having a ton of traffic on that loop, plus why let alittle wear on the carbides stop you from enjoying the smooth trails! excellent job guys! i'll be up to tear 'um up on friday:biggrin: i mean help get the air out of the snow, yeh that's it! :sledder:

Same problem in Townsend

Post by unlocal »

Every year we have the same plowing issues around the Townsend area. The only thing that helps is a LOT of snow which leaves us a little on the sides of the roads! We will scrape off a little carbide if we have to. :sledder:
