Thanks to All

Post by Johnnie »

Considering the snow conditions this winter, we had a great year. There was better snow in Forest Co. then most realized, but the word got out by the later in Feb. and we had new riders from all over the mid west. Just too bad the the big snow of Feb 29th didn't come on Dec 29th.

I just want to take a little time to thank all of you who made this winter a success.

I want to thank all of the 100 Miler groomer drivers including Jim Cole, Dick Leja, Parker and some in Armstrong Creek I have yet to meet. Roger Mattern and Tennessee in Wabeno and Dave Walsh, Dave "Speedy" Stedjee, Jake Aschenbrenner in the Laona area. You all did a splendid job this year. Thank you Stedjee for not hitting any deer with the groomer this year.

I also want to thank Jim Cole for giving us the best snowmobiling website on the internet.

I want to thank the 170 and growing members of the 100 Mile Snow Safari for their commitment to our Club.

I want to thank all of our land owners who let us use their land for a few months in the winter. Without them all we would be doing is riding rail grades back and forth.

I want to thank all of you who stopped in at any of the 100 Mile pit stops and spent a dime or two. Without you snowmobilers, many of the area businesses wouldn't be here.

Last but not least I would like to thank all the volunteers who come up the first Saturday after deer gun season and help brush our trails. As can be seen below we have a good time.

Thanks to all and anyone who I may have missed.

Thanks for all that all you and all these wonderful hard working people do! You guys helped make some great trips possible to Forest Co. this season. The last two weeks were some of the most fun I've had sledding in a while. The riding after the big dumping was incredible, and we had a great ride this past Saturday to finish off the season. When I loaded the sleds on the trailer early Saturday afternoon I knew I was done for the year, but was happy to have gotten that ride in. Thanks again for a great year!

thanks everyone for doing what you do to the hightest degree!! all the drivers need an extra pat for the help they lend to other clubs that are in need! great job guys! until next year, keep adding a white crayon to the freezer each month(about 9, but more is better), maybe next year will provide the dumper right after brushing!
