Ernie tried to go over everything yesterday. Because we got about 8 inches fresh snow, all he could do was pan. The trails were soft so handling a sled was not the best. The base will firm up with time. Ernie will be going out again this morning to actually groom and try to get more air out of the loose snow. I am thinking about doing a rain dance. Some rain would really help to firm up a good base and seal up the snirt. It sounded like the few Opening Day riders had a great time. It should be a great Holiday Week for riding!!!!
