Advice on place to stay

Post by halftag »

I am looking into staying at Peterson't Trailside Inn in Pearson WI - near Pickerel.

Any information and comments are welcomed. I see they have it for sale - why?

Thanks!

Cheneys is a good spot right off the trail with big rooms. Might be booked though pretty popular motel to stay at for snowmobilers.

does johnnies still have the "rustic" feel to it ? used to stay there in the late 70's and early 80's , always a good time . good thing the walls can't talk!

Johnnie's

Does Johnnie's rent out his cabins in the winter.. or are they closed up for the season ? I know the bar is open winters.. and is a great spot to stop for a warm-up along the trail. Hope to be heading north soon to support the local ecomony...

Carter has very nice rooms and a pool, and also attached to a nice resturant and brand new casino. Not to mention it's 20 feet away from the trail.
