There's no business like snow business that I know

There was nothing in this week's paper 12/24. I think with this predicted snow and lows the next couple of days, we might see something in next week's paper 12/31.

Sorry, but why does Forest Co. need to post a notice in the local newspaper...I've asked this before but never got an answer.

I know Johnnie has touched on this a dozen times, but I think it has something to do with the county rules/laws. I do know that he leaves them open when conditions deteriorate because it takes time to get them reopened.

from social media:
The decision about trail opening will be made Monday. The Forest County Snowmobile Coordinator a county employee who does not work Holidays or weekends makes the call, after talking to club officers. Monday morning calls will be made and I would guess trails to open sometime TUE. Just my guess, not official.
After talking to the Forest County Snowmobile Coordinator, my gues for the official opening of trails in Forest Co. will tomorrow sometime. Media has to be contacted and posting on the State Trails website. Do not be afraid to take a ride tomorrow, but watch out for swamps. They may not be groomed. Also, because of bridge construction I am not sure if the NST. Nicolet State Trail will be open north of Newald. Check back tomorrow about noon, I should have official news.
