Tues Morn 1/17/17

Post by Jim »

The following trails were groomed last night:
NST4, SS8, and SS3 south of W.

Trails are rated in excellent conditions. :trophy:
Just a touch of rain, before it converted over to all snow.

Until next time...

Base

Post by birchlake »

Do you think the base we currently have will survive the 40' temps heading towards us later this week?

I can just see the guy that saved all year for his weeks vacation snowmobling in Forest County and you want him to stay off the trails. Would you?

Good thing I am retired. Was up Wednesday thru Friday, great riding. Hope no one has to ride the next week.

After seeing the above picture, one thought comes to mind. I believe the groomer operators in Forest County need to train some of the road builders how to pave asphalt.:cheers:

Not just asphalt, but also concrete! Can really feel the waves in it with a long truck and trailer!

I was just mentioning this scenario yesterday... You got a fella who's got 1 weeks vacation already plan, and you want him to cancel it? No. But if HE wants to... it's up to him.
