Armstrong Creek Update 1/25/22

Post by CHOPPER 3 »

The SS1 & SS6 were groomed Monday night /Tuesday morning . Our trails took a pounding this weekend . The blade on the Tucker had to be used from Armstrong all the way down to intersection 30 . Most corners were pushed out and 2-3 ft tall on the outside , bare ice on the inside . The SS1 was banked like Bristol Speedway , the hill on the SS6 west of the old Christmas Tree Inn was spun down to Ice at the top and the Tucker had to take a second run to make it up , even with lockers engaged . Sliding backwards down a hill with 18,000 lbs of equipment is a special feeling . The Rat River Trail looked like HDS , (hammered dog 💩)but after nailing it twice it is now rated Very Good . I will be headed up north on SS2 and the NST 1 Tuesday evening. Ride Right  and leave some trail for the next guy

Sounds like a lot of work. Thanks for the updates . I almost got creamed this weekend by a guy on a new Bombardier , ( I refer to him as Jaque Ace ), coming out of a corner like his carbides were on fire and his track was catchin' . I'm going back to riding during the week less 🤡 out there .

I've experienced it once myself and hope to never get that "special feeling" again! Glad you made it back unscathed albeit with a load of 💩 in your drawers! :ugeek:

Years of grooming taught me that one of the most critical tools in an operators arsenal is Toilet paper . God speed fellas.
