Any idea what the trail conditions are going to be like for this coming new years weekend? From what I'm gathering, it seems like the trails will be good Saturday (tomorrow) morning until the weekend traffic beats them up too bad for the rest of the holiday. Do you guys think that's accurate? It also looks like there's more snow as you travel East from Crandon.
Thank you for all the hard work you guys do on the trails each year by the way. My winter weekends would be miserable without you guys doing what you do.

We'll be back out grooming, but can only do so much with what we have. There is a little snow in the forecast for today and tomorrow, and maybe we'll get lucky and get more snow than they think we will.

Somebody botched the forecast this time. We were supposed to get mebbe an inch or two here in the Fox Valley. Got a solid 5, maybe even 6. Course it's all powdery light stuff, but snow's snow.
Was up riding Saturday and Sunday and I totally agree with the need for more snow, groomers are doing the best they can with the little snow they have to work with. After riding a bit both days decided to save whats left of the carbides for better conditions, lots of rocks, leaves and some bare stretches where logging is going on between Newald and Armstrong Creek. Why can't the loggers leave some snow on the trail and pack it down rather then plowing almost down to bare ground? Hopefully some snow is coming soon but it does not sound good for this week.
