Non swamp trails are in good early season condition. But swamp trails are not froze enough for safe groomer travel, so are not in good shape. I am hearing, north and. West of Hiles.....not so good. The same for some trails in the Pelican Lake area. Hopefully after a few of the upcoming cold nights, groomers will be able to improve this situation. I talked to a gentleman from Hodag trails n Rhinelander and he said they are also having this problem. But here most of out clubs have ways around, or have eliminated many of our swamp sections.
